Nvidia DLSS AI Super Resolution vs Nvidia DLAA

I'm playing Forza Horizon 5 and there's an option for Nvidia DLSS AI Super Resolution or Nvidia DLAA. If I enable one, it disables the other. I'm wondering which one is better visually? Which do you prefer?

DLSS runs the game at lower internal resolution and boosts the performance while attempting to reduce effects of running the game at lower resolution.

 

DLAA runs the game at same resolution as before but attempts to deal with AA without having having to deal with more taxing AA solutions (like MSAA).

 

Graphical options are so messed up with FH5 right now that I don't even think I can recommend any AA option other than TAA or DLAA (Exclusive to RTX cards, TAA is as good or even better in some instances imo). I used enjoy the game with MSAA and FXAA on together, now they removed that and state of AA in the game is an absolute garbage.

Thanks for the detailed response. I guess it sounds like DLAA would be better visually or maybe even one of the other options like TAA or MSAA. I'm just trying to run the highest possible graphics settings and I never had these options before since I didn't own an  RTX card before.

 

I watched this Linus vid about DLDSR (which I assume is the same as "Nvidia DLSS AI Super Resolution") and it seemed like it made things look better while also increasing FPS, but it does sound off putting that it's not really running at native resolution.
