i need more space for games but i cant afford an ssd right now.

is the Seagate Barracuda harddrive good ?

and can i download games at 60 megabytes per second with it.

It's fine for a hard drive, and yes.

That's likely read speed, so expect a bit less for writes. SSD depends, SATA should get you up to 550 MB/s for writes and a PCIe 3.0 NMVe should give you >3 GB/s and PCIe 4.0 goes up to 7 GB/s.

 

Speeds are also much better for smaller writes, because SSDs have virtually zero seek time, while HDDs have a head that needs to physically move around.

Depending on any data caps and the speed of your internet it might be worth it to consider deleting games you aren't playing right now and downloading them again if you want to play them later, at least until you have more money for a drive. The raw speed difference is pretty significant, but the actual loading speed difference for gaming tends to range between 50% and 500% slower. This is heavily dependent on the game though. Personally I've gone full SSD for local storage and I don't regret it, but an HDD isn't that bad as a game drive.
