THe technical specs of this card are here:

https://www.asus.com/us/motherboards-components/graphics-cards/tuf-gaming/tuf-rtx3070-o8g-v2-gaming/techspec/

It suggests...at a minimum...a 750watt power supply.

What's in your PC currently?

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

You should definitely get a new power supply at least 750. if you have a 7700 cpu in their that will be fine for most games but your cpu WILL bootleneck your gpu when you play 1080p or CPU heavy games. Check to see how much ram your pc has und upgrade that if needed…. Your running Dual Channel Right?…. Right?

Well based on the default config for that unit:

https://icecat.biz/en/p/acer/dg.e08eq.006/predator-pcs-workstations-g3-710-36403093.html

It came with a 500 W PSU which will probably be a little lacking for a 3070. It also came with 32GB of RAM and I imagine it was 2 x 16 for price reasons and usually prebuilts from Asus and MSI are better with using actual dual channel for memory.

Oh I don't know why I thought you had the i7-7700 version.

How do you have 44 GB of RAM?

It still uses a 500 W PSU though. So even with the i5-6400 it's still a little weak.

The CPU is pretty weak for a 3070 you're going to lose about 20-30% performance compared to a i5-12400 and 30-40% compared to a i5-12600k or i7 12th gen.

Don't know if you have a budget to replace out the CPU and Motherboard but it would give a pretty good boost.
