Actually it's gone down a lot. The cheapest 2x8 kit was $60 about 2 months ago. Almost 2 years ago I bought 2x8 for €90 iirc, and that was cheap at the time.

Fairly cheap. I removed when it was like $80 for a 8GB kit when there was a shortage
