I have decided on the case i am going with but what is the best layout in terms of intake and outtake for the fans?

Case:CORSAIR 7000D AIRFLOW Full-Tower ATX PC Case

CPU:i9-13900k

i was thinking of going with a 480 rad but a 360 rad is fine just want the best temps possible.

Fan Options

Front: 4 x 120mm / 3 x 140mm (2 x 140mm Included)

side 4 X 120mm / 3X140mm

Top: 3 x 120mm / 2 x 140mm

Rear: 1 x 120mm / 1 x 140mm (1 x 140mm Included)

Radiator Options

Front - Up to 480mm / Rear - Up to 140mm / Top - Up to 420mm

360/420 at the top with fans as intake. Get a liquid freezer ii top class performance for a low price.

Load the front up with fans as intake.

Leave the back empty and let all the intake air rush out of the case enjoying low temps and tons of air

You're an intake fan 😄

I'd put the rad top  as well but on exhaust (hot air rises also, seems better than sending it back in)  front and side on intake (slow fans), back on exhaust to have a balanced airflow setup with cold air in/hot air out

I'm a balance fan 🙂

I mean all of their XXXXD cases perform best in this setup with an aio.

Hot air rises but the littelest movement of air invalidates that property.

Front fans in gives thr gpu plenty of air and top fans in gives the cpu the most fresh air.

With all those fans having one in the back is actually more an obstruction than it is a help.

If you have only air in the air has to find a way out and these cases are perforated in the bacl for exactly that 😛

mmm, makes sense, but I'm not that versed into big open boxes, trying to cool my PC enclosed below my desk made me think about how to create proper airflow where there isn't any normally 😛
