Upgrading 1060 3GB

Hi all,

I'm looking for an upgrade for my 1060 3GB card. I have a custom water-cooled loop so I've attached a universal EK block and some heatsinks to the memory and vrm's to make it all work. For my upgrade I would like a full sized block, but not all water blocks seem to be readily available for a sensible price here in the Netherlands so finding a good combo is not that easy...

 

However I found a Gigabyte AORUS Radeon RX 6900 XT Xtreme Waterforce WB 16G for €800. As opposed to finding a air-cooled card + compatible water block this seems like a good deal. Any thoughts on this card? Does this make sense to upgrade to? It will be paired with a 13600K in my new build. Other suggestions for obtaining a custom water-cooled upgrade are also welcome.

this is pretty expensive, i could buy this card brand new for 650€ (this is with tax) in my country (belgium)

where do you live?

the card itself is pretty good, solid vrms and good quality.  it will also work great with the 13600K!

Netherlands, where do you get a 6900xt for €650? I don't see them being sold much lower than 800 here...

Yeah, still 120 cheaper. Somehow it ends up in my shopping cart without tax, interestingly.

I just looked into the procedure, for shipping outside belgium you need to ask for a "offerte" where the final shipping costs and correct btw tax are included. So I guess its fine, its just a bit more work.

yeah its a little different but its alright.
