I had a topic in another area at this forum and decided to maybe build a new pc

i was an intel guys for many years  now i am not sure anymore if i should go towards AMD

i want to spend  around 5-6K    i use the pc for Flight sim, music editing and of course gaming.  i want to use the new AMD RX 7000 series GPU when its out

What do you guys suggest for MB , CPU and ram (64 or more is ok by me) And what about cooling    water or air

Intel 13th gen is still slightly better than AMD 7xxx but if you want to make full use of ur GPU then AMD CPU is probably better.

this depends on how comfortable you are with water in your system. Air is kinda getting harder to sell with the 7950x going beyond the ability of an NHD15. On the other hand water cooling has its own set of reliability problems. i would think u should just AIO ur CPU and air cool the GPU if ur not comfortable with fully custom liquid cooling

the gpu i currently put is a 6900XT. should be around the same price as the 7900XT. so just drop it in ig.
