how far can i overclock an i7 4770k (in terms of voltage and an average clockspeed you can get with it) with the be quiet dark rock 3 cooler? (not the dark rock pro 3)

no chip is the same, you can never predict how your chip is going to act, you just have try and see how it acts, that said you your chances of getting a decent overclock should be good because that is a solid cooler.

 

set the voltage as high as you are willing to go temperature wise, then keep pushing up the clockspeed until it becomes unstable, then set the clockspeed down one notch and proceed to reduce voltage until it is unstable, then put the voltage back one notch to where it was stable.
