So I want to pair a Radeon 6950Xt and an Intel I5 12400F I would play on 1080p high graphic games would you think there are going to be any problems or would I be able to play normally ?

Yes but what is the rest of the system?

 

These are just 2 parts of the whole machine.

 

Also a 6950xt is far overkill for 1080p high even with a 144hz monitor (dont bother going much higher hz most games dont support reaching those fps anyway). So it will last a long long time.

 

Just make sure that spending most of your budget on the gpu doesnt impact the rest too much.
