Not working laptop

Hi my laptop stopped working today. Normally when i push the power button the msi logo appears on the laptop screen and cpu fan starts spinning. But today i pushed the button but nothing happened. Only screen blinked 2 times white but fans were quiet.(it has gpu and cpu fan) But i was able to hear a coil whine and heatsink started warming just a little bit (about 25C or 77F). Second time i tried to turn on the laptop, the screen flashed 3 times everything was the same as before. I tried to reset CMOS and disconnect the batterry.

Does the keyboard backlight or additional lighting on the laptop turn on when you try to power it on or is it just the screen? If a CMOS reset and power cycle did not work you may have a display or motherboard issue.

Only screen lid up. Nothing else. Not even batterry charging led.

I extracted system drive from that laptop and it is working, so it is not that bad.

its dead. i extracted mobterboard from the laptop and it has cracked chipset
