I've been having these problems recently with my computer where it would just randomly start lagging and then maybe 5-10 minutes later my computer would just black screen, everything would still be going on in the background but I wouldn't be able to see anything which then just leads me to just restart my computer to resolve the issue. If anyone knows what the problem may be causing this please let me know because this computer was made earlier this year and I really don't want to take it in to get it checked unless I really need to, thank you everyone.

Although a black screen could appear due to many problems, it's usually related to a graphics driver or compatibility issues with a new feature update. It could also happen when the computer installs a buggy update.

I would start with updating the drivers for the motherboard, such as network, audio, chipset, etc. Reinstall the graphics drivers too and nuke the drivers before installing again with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller). BIOS updates can help but this sounds more like a driver issue since you didn't have issues when you built the computer.

I've already used DDU multiple times to uninstall and reinstall my drivers. I've tried the optional drivers and the recommended but this issue still has been happening.

You can try to check temperatures of cpu or gpu. I use HWinfo for checking theese. Your cpu and gpu shuld be under 80C or 170 F. If its over 100C or 212F it could crash to protect itself.

It's not a CPU or GPU temp issue, both of them run at a normal temp at all times never going past 60C.
