Hi,

I just bought a second hand A2000 and it only came with a short I/O bracket. This is what I have:

My PC is a tower size. Is there any safe and practical way I can use this card without buying an extra $20 tall I/O bracket like the one shown below? My PC is an HP EliteDesk 800 G2.

You could buy an adapter that extends the short one to full length. But you wanna go super cheap, try finding some chopsticks or skewers and use those as 'long screws'

Please mark as solved if I answered your question.

Thanks, but this wouldn't work without modifying the OEM case, as the folded over metal bumps into the case's pcie slot divider bars. Currently I am using it without any shield for this reason, but this is a temporary solution as I had to fix it in place with a toilet paper carton roll to prevent GPU sag from braking the pci-e slot on the motherboard. So it's a temporary solution...
