Is this a dead pixel dust or a crack?

Hi,

I can't tell if this monitor i have is a dead pixel or crack or dust behind the screen what do you guys think. Only shows up though on certain colors like i can't see it on fully white screen.

It looks like a crack to me but has no feel to it on the screen.

That is a scratch in the LCDs matte screen filter layer.

AFAIK a hard nope, at least without replacing the entire layer.

Damn I might be willing to do that but idk where I would even get a new layer.

As someone who peeled this layer off their monitor once, I would not even recommend doing that let alone attempting to replace it. Not worth it, either replace the entire panel or the monitor.

Crack or scratch to me. They is no fix is recommended. Either ignore it and use until it no longer can use or replace a new one.
