External radiator for small case

Hey guys,

My brother and I thought of this crazy machine: Build a gaming system in a Bitfenix Collossus Micro and water cool it by having on 480mm rad attached with tubing outside the case, sitting on its,own feet on the desk behind the monitors. Equip with LED spectre Pro = awesome.

What do you guys think?

Sounds good, I'm thinking of externally mounting a 240 or 280 or 360 rad on the back of a Ft-03 mini, 'cause that will be cool (cool! get it!?!?!)

I'll make a mounting system out of perspex (or something) based on the nzxt h440 top fan mounting system where it can support a variety of rads with some forward/backwards flexibility as well. So, slightly different to yours where mine will still be mounted to the case.

Would you use quick disconnects from the big radiator and the cooling contained in your pc case.

Yes I did. Koolance QD4s. I added 9 140mm XSPC fans which I control with a NZXT fan controller.
