Questions regarding compatibility.

Right now I have a 10700F and I'm looking to upgrade to a 11900k
My mother board is a: TUF GAMING B460M-PLUS (WI-FI)
Just wondering if this MB needs an update or anything to be compatible with the 11900k.

I'd check with the bios revision it currently has and which is needed for 11900K. I will say that a b460M-Plus is going to struggle for power delivery for 11900K. Those chips are infernos and require a ton of power.

hmm yeah I'm mostly looking for a upgrade without replacing the mother board right now.

If I replaced the motherboard I'd just go up to 13th gen.

just update the bios and you're good to go.
