Normal 3DMark Time Spy Score?

Go to solution Solved by thekingofmonks,

The average score (blue font) should give you an idea as to how most 3070Ti cards would perform.

Note that this doesn't apply to this particular config you have (12700K + 3070Ti) and that performance varies slightly across different models of the same GPU.

Okay thanks.  Also, is the dip at the beginning of the demo normal?  I searched up other tests and some don't have that dip.

My guess is that this particular sequence is the loading sequence prior to the test. Some have high GPU/memory clocks during that sequence because they were running other tests prior to that one and boost mode hasn't stopped yet.

If you look at the "detailed monitoring" section's "percentage" graph, there should be almost no usage. Simply put, a GPU can run at its boost clock without being utilized at all.

The dip you're experiencing is probably normal.

I may be wrong, though, so don't take my word for it.

Seems ok compared to my results, with a slightly better GPU and worse CPU

Not sure about the CPU score? I have the same CPU (12700k) and I'm getting 18k for CPU. Not even overclocked the CPU, in fact, undervolted by 100mV, but otherwise stock.

Paired with 3080ti though, but didn't think it affects CPU score that much? RAM is a 6400-32-39-39-102 2x16 DDR5 kit from G.Skill.....but I have to run it at 5800-36-36-36-28 because my CPU can't handle anything above 5800 lol.
