Is Nvidia Surround supported on enough games to make it worth it in 2022? With the RTX 4090 out it seems like now would be the perfect time to get 3 QHD monitors with high refresh rates.

It seems like most games support ultrawide resolutions, does that mean they will support the 48:9 ratio as well?

I used to run nvidia surround back in the 780 ti and 1080 ti days and I know a few games I still play work and you can make even more games work with software like flawless widescreen and widescreen fixer.

I am mostly curious if there are any of the newer games that work in surround like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the new Call of Duty's, Cyberpunk 2077, Mass Effect Legendary Edition and other games like those.

Most big budget games support multi-monitors today although there are still some games that require manual fix or have potential bugs. Not all games that support ultrawide would also support multi-monitors properly. You can check multi-monitor support by browsing at pcgamingwiki.com.
