First Time PC Build

Other details: This build is entirely from scratch and will also be my first ever PC build.  I have a few friends who are super into tech, but they're also in wildly different camps about brands/specs. As such, I have two build lists that I've put together with a combination of their recommendations and my limited knowledge/google-fu.  As I have no real expertise or applicable knowledge, I don't know which to choose, or even if both are missing the mark.  Honestly, budget isn't a major concern as if my decided build is above my current price point, I'll just save up for a little longer.  I'm looking for a system that will play the latest games on Ultra and will be moderately future proof.  If I can do some music production and/or Blender on the side that's a plus.
