OBS settings for screen capture on Linux

Hii to all, i want to setup obs for screen capture and first decision i have to make is to use screen capture (PipeWire) or screen capture (XSHM). But i cant find any information on the internet what is the difference between those two..! 

If someone knows something about this it would be appreciated. Tnx in advance.

Pipewire capture is for Wayland desktops, and XSHM is for Xorg desktops. Xorg is very old software for displaying the graphics on your screen. Wayland is the new school way and is designed to eliminate many issues that come with Xorgs old design and age. Look up wether your distro uses Xorg or Wayland. There's lots of info on the pros and cons of each, just a google search away. It's a rabbit hole.
