Okay I'm about to upgrade graphics card from a Zotac GT 610 to a EVGA GTX 770. Big jump I know, but I was wondering if my system could handle it? Will my components be able to function with this beast?

 

Note: Buying a CS650M PSU with this card!

 

Specs:

Case - Corsair 300R (With 3 other fans)

CPU - Core i5-3470 clock @ 3.20 (With stock fan)

Graphics Card - Zotac GT 610

RAM - 8GB of iDontKnow

Motherboard - ASUS P8H61-MX USB 3.0 (Don't know a thing about motherboards.)

Hard drives - 1.5tb Seagate Barracuda + I have a home center with 4TB

Power Supply -  ATX-500

 

Case: Carbide 300R

CPU: i5 4690K @ 3.90GHz

RAM: 8GB DDR3

Mobo: MSI Z97-G45 Gaming

GPU: R9 290 Tri-X

PSU: EVGA SUPERNOVA NEX650G

Storage: 4TB NAS

Drive 1: Seagate 1TB 7200RPM

Drive 2: WD 500gb 7200RPM

Keyboard: Vengeance K50

Headset: Vengeance 1500 V2

Mouse: R.A.T 5

what is an "ATX-500"?

 

I mean it would run... but depending on what the answer to that question is, I might not try it.

Doesn't matter, he's going to be upgrading his PSU to a CS650M anyways.

 

As far as can your build handle that GPU? Absolutely. I see no problems.

And as somebody else mentioned, another great upgrade for that PC would be an SSD.

yeah, absolutely, no bottleneck, ssd would be cool though

Thanks, been thinking of an SSD will probably get one after :P

Yes, your motherboard will support the GPU.

Just make sure your GPU fits into your case.. Don't forget, this card is huge.
