If you already have an i7 in it donr bother upgrading performance differences are minimal.

VERY good find! Believe parts that old should be socketed, although not sure. 

 

Yup, looked it up and they are socketed with the GPUs likely being MXM but possibly a proprietary form factor.

 

The best CPU you can fit in that machine should be a 4940MX? not entirely sure. What are the specs on it now?
