buildhelp Wanting to buy the parts for a pc for a gift for my gf
Go with a Ryzen 5600 - it's very good deal, great performance for money ...
Ryzen 5600 also comes with a stock cooler that's decent and can be enough for the start.
You don't need such expensive motherboard, but also no need to go super cheap with B450 chipset motherboard.
110$ MSI PRO B550M-VC WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (PRO B550M-VC WIFI) - PCPartPicker
has the latest Wifi 6e wireless, has usb 10g front panel header, has good mix of usb connectors in the back, has rgb headers (4 pin rgb and 3 pin rainbow)
120$ MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (B550M PRO-VDH WIFI) - PCPartPicker
the older version with wifi5 if for some reason the previous is not stocked/available
RAM is fine if you want RGB ram, otherwise there's cheaper ram sticks.
The SSD you chose is SATA, get a nvme SSD, it's faster and not that much more expensive and really go for 1 TB, spend 10-20$ more and get 1 TB
SN570 suggested above is good choice.
Skip on the mechanical drive and move those $50 to the video card and get something more powerful, if possible. 1 TB will be enough for a few games and a couple months or until next paycheck
