I'm planning to build my pc next week and I have planned and researched every component for about 5 months now and I'm still not sure what memory to buy.. Mainly because of the height of the memory, the cooler will be a Scythe Mugen 4 PCGH and I was thinking to buy a 16gb vengeance kit. Will this fit underneath it and do you guys have other suggestions? Thanks!

Other parts are:

Corsair Obsidian 450D

MSI Z87-G45 Gaming

Intel i5-4670k

MSI GTX 770 Gaming

Intel 530 240GB SSD

Corsair CX750M

some other corsair case fans and a seagate 1TB HDD

P.S. I will post some pictures of my build when its ready :)

When it comes to memory, it really doesn't matter what you choose. As long as its the right amount for you and has a decent speed (>1600Mhz) it will be fine. So just choose the memory that you like the look of best. If your CPU heat sink is going to cover the memory anyway, it doesn't really matter what it looks like. (This is why I went for Crucial Ballistix Sport) Just find some nice low profile DIMMs like Corsair Vengeance LP.

Judging by this picture, I don't think regular Corsair vengeance will fit in the first two slots, so consider Corsair Vengeance LP
