Hey there
So, this one's pretty funky on it's own, and I haven't found any info to help the problem here but, please hear me out.

Recently, I built my first gaming PC, I was really proud and it was working perfectly fine, until it wasn't. I would like to mention that I did, in fact, use a maybe not so legal, windows key bought online for a really cheap price, but even then, can't tell if this is the main issue here. The first problem here is that after everything went wrong with the PC, it just stopped booting on it's own, the only way I could was to keep the same usb stick used to install windows on this device inserted during the boot process, which is weird, but not only this, sometimes it won't even boot at all unless I remove one of my monitor cables and plug it back in.

I am honestly at a loss of solutions since where I live, I can't even go at a local store to get it checked up, I even restarted my entire pc, ran some cmd commands to try and get rid of the windows license key and re-installed windows all over again but to no success, I was thinking maybe change the Drive to another SSD and get rid of this one but can't tell at all if the drive is faulty or not. Also, it seems that every change I make to the BIOS, don't actually apply when it comes to Boot Menu and Fan Control either, which is also really weird...

If any of you guys have any info/help you could give me, it would honestly mean the world to me.

Best Regards.

Step one since you are new here:

You need to list *ALL* your hardware, in detail.

Pics of settings in your BIOS help a great deal.

Videos of the system going dumb, are even better

What version of Win10, and what driver(s) did you install, and where did you get said drivers.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

My Hardware is;

CPU : Ryzen 9 5900x
GPU : GIGABYTE RTX 3070
RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB 3200CL16 DDR4
SSD : Samsung 980 PCIE Gen 3
MB : ASUS TUF B550-PLUS

The version I'm running is Windows 10 Pro and the drivers I haven't really touched them since I re-installed windows yesterday, But I do recall the PC working fine and booting normally without any specific Driver install ...

And I unfortunately can't send videos because of the file size being too big, but basically the PC will display and connect the devices but will leave the monitor on an empty grey-ish screen instead of the usual TUF logo popping up and then booting into Windows.

As what @Marcus E said, did you update the BIOS, are you doing any overclocking or using XMP profile on the RAM?

Sorry just got back from my job

I unfortunately am not sure on how to do so, if you could clear it up a bit
and yes, I use the D.O.C.P Profile (XMP for Ryzen MB's)

No worries.

Turn off XMP, revert all settings in the BIOS to stock values.

Follow the video above and report back.
