That's normal considering the weight of 30 series GPU. My Strix 3080 is worse.
Real sag occurs over a long time.

Whether or not it needs a support stand, that's entirely up to you.
Some people doesn't bother, some other people use it.
I generally don't upgrade until it is nearly unusable, never looked into my PC case unless I need to, don't really care about looks, and I have a bit of OCD about straightness, so I use one.
 

You can also buy a strong enough string, like steel string or something, tie it off to GPU shroud, then tie the other end to the top of your PC case.
