and no frond io ect

it's not that big a deal, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds if you really care about that, but that's not really necessary either as long as the PSU is unplugged.

That said, you can build the system fully then do BIOS flashback, it's perfectly safe to do it with the CPU, RAM, GPU, etc. installed, it's just not necessary to have them installed.

So, what's your concern?

When unplugging and plugging things from the inside of the PC, the PC needs to be off, the PSU needs to be turned off,

if you want to be extra cautious you can also unplug the PSU after turning it off, and if you're really scared you can: when the PSU is off/unplugged hold down power button for few seconds?

If you're scared that the motherboard keeps electricity after it's no longer recieving power from PSU you shouldn't be, where would it keep it?

What motherboard are you buying? From a store or from internet?

It's technically possible assuming you get a board that was made extremely recently, though very unlikely, and if it does work it's likely on a BIOS with only basic 13th gen support, so you'd want to do a BIOS update amyway

I couldn't tell you, when you go to buy it it could've been made a week ago or 4 months ago, it's luck of the draw. Odds are it won't have a 13th gen capable BIOS though.

That said, that board has BIOS flashback so it doesn't really matter. It takes 5 minutes to do. Just build your computer as you normally would, see if it turns on, if it gets stuck at a CPU error code (I'd be surprised if it didn't), do BIOS flashback (or Q-Flash Plus as Gigabyte calls it), it's perfectly fine to do BIOS flashback with a CPU and the rest of the system together, wait the 5 minutes for it to flash and you're done.

You won't, it's pretty fool proof. If you're really scared, ask the store that you're buying from if they'll update the BIOS before purchase.

Im buying it online maybe ill look for a place that will do the update bit thxman
