Hi, so recently I upgraded my pc with RTX 3060Ti but for some reason it's doing those spikes

I guess it has to be the cpu that's causing this...

I know that i5-7400 paired with 3060Ti isn't a good combination at all... but still I just want to make sure..

Planning to upgrade to i5-13600KF sometime in the future.

Are these loads while gaming or idle?

You shouldn't be having both the CPU and GPU hitting these loads at the same time while gaming, or really doing anything. Your system is being maxed out. Something else is more than likely causing this like a virus or program. If you can clarify what the computer is doing process wise when these spikes occur that would be awesome. I would also recommend running a Malwarebytes scan it's a free antivirus/ anti-malware program and the best one out there it get's stuff a lot of the crapier AVs miss.

Also make sure your drivers are up to date, including chipset and bios. Make sure you're getting them from the manufacturer sites and are not using Windows updates to get drivers.

Those are while gaming, when the pc is idle it behaves pretty normal, GPU almost no load and cpu under 10%. I'll try some antivirus scans, that'll take some time. Drivers for GPU were, as always, installed through GeForce Experience. Another thing to consider is that it could be because of Win11 on an unsupported CPU.

Anyway I'll try those things and get back to you. Thanks!
