Does partition scheme of a USB Thumb drive matter when using it for a Windows installation? (not booting from, just the install)

My actual OS drive will be set up as GPT as I'm using UEFI but the SanDisk thumb drive I'm using to install is MBR from the manufacturer, does this matter at all? I just don't want to mess with converting it if I don't need to.
