Budget (including currency): 2,000 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA Games, Office work/web development, some 3D rendering and photo editing

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I'm looking for suggestions to solidify my build before I pull the trigger. I ended up coming in under budget but would love to know where I could improve on some of the parts I selected. I would like to stick with the case and CPU that I picked but am open to others suggestions on those as well. I plan on getting a better monitor in the future probably something around 144MHz or higher but I'm stuck with my BenQ 60MHz monitor for now.

For the most part, it is a pretty solid build.

However, 13600K could be had for only $30 more, which is such a steal, might want a beefier cooler tho.

If you don't plan to OC, B660M board is fine, but please ask the vendor to update the BIOS first before shipping, or make sure that they are on the latest BIOS. Hardware unboxed said that cheap Z690 boards are not recommendable, so a high quality B660M is better. A high quality Z690 could be has as low as $207, the MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI.

AFAIK, 2x ram sticks is better for performance, can't remember why, but I remember I read about it. Also, more clearance for your air cooler.

RTX 3080 12GB instead of 6900 XT, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't 3D rendering software more geared towards CUDA cores, which only Nvidia GPUs have? If so, then getting 6900 XT for rendering is a bad idea.

High quality multi rail 850W PSU for much less than the Supernova G6. FYR https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

Idk about your monitor resolution, but I'd at least get a 1440p display. Some good ones (for gaming with meh color performance) could be had for below $300.

You can easily get a new monitor with your budget. I went for quite a few changes here to help accommodate that.
