Window Manager 100% GPU

Go to solution Solved by Motifator,

Common thing with the last couple of Nvidia drivers and new Windows versions, mine also does the same. It just means GPU is using Windows, even at %100 the card is actually not properly taxed. Check GPU-Z and you'll find out that it's in fact pulling idle power. When you launch a game, it goes down back to normal. Nothing to be worried about.

Hello,

My task manager shows the Desktop Window Manager using 100% GPU periodically. I tried to fix by DDU and update drivers, windows update, check corrupted windows files and Avira full system scan.

What I find strange is that the MSI afterburner does not show this usage, it shows the GPU as 1% / 2%

Is this something that I should worry about? If so how can I fix it?
