BIOS already updated?!

Bought a new motherboard (gigabyte a320m s2h ver 1.2) and here it says the bios version is f55 which i look up in their website is compatible with 5000 series, so my new 5600 is good to install right? Does "new" motherboards came with their bios updated already?

You just got lucky and got a board fresh off the shipping boat, or someone updated the bios before it reached you. 

 

It's not the latest bios, F56a is the latest but F55 is the minimum required.

Yeah, I'm fine with F55, I'm not really a lucky person I know if i try to update the bios the power will go out or a meteorite will hit our house, plus its storm season, power's kinda not stable here cheers!
