(Prebuilt tower) Good value?

Go to solution Solved by mariushm,

Well, I would say no.

First you wouldn't need a 5600g if you have separate integrated graphics - I guess they use 5600g for both "no-graphics cards " and "with graphics card" sku.

The 550w psu works with 6600 video card, but would not be a great choice if you would eventually decide to upgrade to a more powerful video card

Here's pretty much same build at $740, with a 650w power supply and motherboard with wireless  :

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HcxPGL

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($129.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($119.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Silicon Power XPOWER Turbine 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory  ($43.97 @ Amazon)
Storage: Western Digital Blue SN570 500 GB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($42.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Gigabyte EAGLE Radeon RX 6600 8 GB Video Card  ($239.99 @ Best Buy)
Case: BitFenix Nova Mesh SE ATX Mid Tower Case  ($69.90 @ Newegg Sellers)
Power Supply: EVGA 650 GQ 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply  ($92.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $739.82
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

You can bump the SSD to a 1 TB model, and bump the video card to a RX 6600 XT and still be below 960$

Looking at an MSI pre-built (link) and just wanted to make sure it's  a decent value for the price.

Stats are

Ryzen 5 5600G

Radeon RX 6600

550W 80+ Bronze power supply

16GB DDR4 3200 ram

MSI mATX pro (b550) motherboard

Price is $960 USD with a $200 rebate

Thanks in advance

I was hoping I'd finally found a good pre-built but looks like I have no choice but to get my hands dirty. Thanks for all the pointers!
