Power Supply Cables

Hi,

 

I was just wondering, Im planning to buy a 3060TI and noticed that it needs an 8pin and 6pin PCIE connector. I was wondering if you could connect both of these to a single PCIe cable to the power supply that has 2 6+2PCIe ports on a single cable, or should i run them separately to the power supply? For reference Here is a photo of what i am talking about

Power supply cables usually have these extra 6+2 port in parallel with the original one using only a single cable to the power supply

A single cable that splits is fine.
