Deciding on a new GPU

I have 3 options I've thought of: RTX 2070 Super, RX 6600 XT, and RTX 3060; if you have better options around that ball park I'm open to suggestions

They're all the same price? Only for gaming?

If yes to both, 6600 XT all the way. It is faster than 3060, and most likely would be cheaper than 3060.

If you need to stream games, or do some productivity workload, then RTX 3060.

Get the cheapest one, they all perform very similar to each other assuming it's for gaming. 

 

Some other options to consider are 5700 XT and 6650 XT (sometimes cheaper than 6600 XT)

Why? AMD has an encoder too and that's on par with Nvenc after recent updates.

Idk about that, I just checked now with my RX 6800 XT recording at the highest bit rate, there are a lot of blurriness when moving the camera around.

And I did a quick research, apparently it has improved but still not on the same level as Nvidia.

There will always be blur, even with Nvenc. Did you enable B-frames? See the video linked below for how to get the best quality with AMF.

 

Nvenc is about 2-5% better, but not something you're going to notice unless you pause and look closely. Intel still has the best encoder in their (i)GPU's.
