Bluetooth antenna extension cable

CalamariWangcaster

I have the input for the bluetooth and wifi antenna at the back of my computer... I'd like the bluetooth antenna to be in front of the computer, for better functionality with the dualsense controller.

Does an extension cable for these antenna exist and if so, what would the name of that cable/fitting be called?

Also, any info on what to look for in terms of quality of cable and things like that would also be greatly appreciated!

Useful info:

Motherboard: MAG B550M MORTAR WIFI

  • The Wireless module is pre-installed in the M.2 (Key-E) slot

Thanks tech fam.

IIRC, usually SMA cable.

Probably get one with good shielding.

Although you will need to think of a mounting for the antennas too after you extend it.

Me, I just bought a long enough USB male to female cable to be mounted under a shelf, 50cm above my monitor, then use a USB bluetooth dongle. Cheap AF.

Better than having 2 cables all over the place (There's also a possibily of degradation in signal due to extension & EMI)

The method so far worked wonder for my Dualshock 4.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post
