Pc not proper booting

Hey yall, I  got a pc that will start up show signs of life have a video feed for a second than stop, what could be the problem I tried different ram, and tried taking out the gpu, tried clearing the bios, and when i tried connecting a different power supply (650w) it basically reset instantly with no graphics cardinstalled, but my usual power supply was a 850 and never resets.    Now I'm not sure what else to try but im thinking it is the mother board any suggestions
