Looking for a new printer

My old HP printer is no longer easy to use and HP's garbage system to find relevant drivers is just causing a headache. I'm long overdue a printer regardless.

 

Are there any recommendations? I've honestly had nothing but trouble with HP so I've been looking at others. I don't know which printer brands are good.

 

I need it for home use, predominantly just document printing.

If you're looking for a cheap home printer, bascially everything is crap. Printers are universally the worst types of computer peripheral.

 

Get an epson for about $60 and expect to need a new one in 2 years.

Cannon is also shit, just so you know. Ive heard good things about brother, but thats mainly the laser printers.
