I am upgrading very soon to a 4930k and I am requiring a case that can adequately support a E-ATX motherboard.

The main one that caught my eye was the Corsair 750d, but on further investigation I found that it does not actually have the proper mounts for an E-ATX mobo, despite saying that E-ATX is supported from the manufacturer's website.

So if anyone can link me to or provide some suggestions for this I would truly appreciate it. I do have a few things I am looking for in whatever case I choose.

1. Has to be black and a full tower.

2. Must have a very clean and modern aesthetic (no flashy lights or a shape that looks like a UFO). Something along the lines of the 750d or 900d. The 900d would actually be good, but I don't want to spend that much money on a case which leads to my next point.

3. I would like the case to be in the $150-$200 range. I could afford more, but I don't want some ridiculously overpriced case like that one Silverstone that goes for $600 or some of the Lian Li's where you are just paying for a name.

4. The case should have good airflow and a large side panel window.

I think that about covers it. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hey, what's up slunts?

You serious? I didn't know that. Uh... check out the Corsair 760T (I'm not sure if that's too flashy for you), Corsair Air 540, Phanteks Enthoo Primo Aluminum ($40 over your budget)

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Why do you need E-ATX? There are ATX LGA 2011 Boards?

I've been shopping around and I've narrowed down to 3 boards that I like and they all happen to be E-ATX.

I see that. I saw it mentioned in some reviews on Newegg as well on Corsair's forums that people had issues with E-ATX. Specifically that the standoff points didn't line up with their boards. I have only been looking into the cases for about an hour so it could just be that they're idiots making the comments. Thanks for the pic though. Were there any issues that you encountered with installing the mobo in the 750d? I really like that case.

The other ones I am considering are the Fractal Design XL and the NZXT H630 Ultra as a last resort. Thanks again!

Thanks for the suggestions. The 760t is too flashy, the 540 is not my style, but the Phanteks is pretty nice. I will check out some reviews on that one and see if it fits my needs.

Thanks to everyone for the speedy responses.

Here is my current rig. As you can probably figure, I have matured and grown out of the "space ship" look, lol.

Not my picture--just one I grabbed online.

I'm personally not tired of my NZXT Phantom's looks yet but just the noise. It's pretty quiet but I can still tell it's on from the noise.

Great looking case you got there with the red corsair fans. This is pretty much what I'm going for. Matched up with the AX1200i, my dual MSI 780's, and those sick Silverstone black & red cables. Same mobo as you got there too. How is the board and case working for you? Any complaints?
