need a temporary internet solution

currently renting a house while my new house is finalised but the wifi in the rental property is terrible past 2m away from the main hub, hoping to find some temporary solution like a mobile data kind of thing that i could use to have access to the internet throughout my home. also live in the uk so it needs to be something avaliable there

I'm assuming that your using a laptop. Just get a portable range extender. They have them that connect into USB.

Or, depending n your phone's provider, you can use it to connect your computer.

If you live and have a library card for a public library, some of them have hotspots available for rental.
