So I recently bought a MSI Ventus 3x 10 gb recently. Undervolted it and when I try to play a game it just crashes.

Tried 2 different frequencies and voltages

1955 MHz at 875 mV and 1900 MHz at 825 mV.

When I set the MHz and mV back to default it runs fine. Am I doing something wrong because this is my first time undervolting a gpu.

First find the stable undervolt score, then change clock freq.

If you crashed than the undervolt is not stable, most likely too low, decrease by 10-25mV per stress test.

Or OC first then undervolt, depending on which you wish to achieve more.

You can't base your supposed undervolt off of other GPU of the same model, each GPU has different silicone quality.

Occassionaly visits the forum when I have nothing to do at work.

1955 sounds way too high for 0.875v and 0.825 might be flat out unstable under load, try 1905 and 1800

If you use ms afterburner, you can run that option that it will ‘auto tune’ your card based on what it can.

bad explanation but in the go right now
