SATA2 vs. SATA3

I am currently working on a budget build for a friend, and I want to put the FX-6300 into the system, but all the cheaper motherboards that I can find do not have SATA3. I am only planning on putting a WD Blue 1TB in to begin with (please don't tell me to put a SSD in right off the bat), so I was wondering if going with a motherboard that only has SATA2 would be a mistake. Thanks for your help.

It's fine. The hdd doesn't doesn't fully saturate the 3Gb/s port.

HDD's will probably never be able to saturate a SATA II port.
