Has anyone done any testing for how an intel arc gpu performs vs a workstation graphics card?

There’s a video on using a cheap one to do av1 encoding and decoding.   There is something about using it to get around an Nvidia paywall.  That’s the closest I can think of though.  It would likely depend heavily on the card and the use case. There are going to be some old cards it is faster than.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

The fix is to open SOLIDWORKS Rx 2022 and click "Click here to launch SOLIDWORKS while bypassing the Tools/Options settings". This forces it to use hardware OpenGL acceleration.

To force this permanently open the registry editor and go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SolidWorks\SOLIDWORKS 2022\Performance\Graphics\Hardware\Intel and set Workarounds to 9.

But how is the performance tho? Like my gtx 1650 4gb mobile gets 200 fps in solidworks is it equal or better?

Hi, I have Solidworks 2023, and my regedit goes like this: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SolidWorks\SOLIDWORKS 2022\Performance, but the Performance folder is not expandable, and there's a bunch of stuff inside it. Do you have a solution to this?
