RTX 2060 Issues high idle temp

nuclear465

Hey there everyone.

I recently built a secondary system and i noticed that my RTX 2060 has a very high idle temperature around 76-78 ºC, so i started digging around and found out that the GPU is always on max core clock (1920 Mhz), max memory clock  (6801 Mhz) and max voltage (1036 mV). Messing around on Afterburner does not solve anything.

I used DDU and fresh installed nvidia drivers, still the same issue... I am on AMD Ryzen Balanced power option. Inside Nvidia control panel i use optimized settings and tried out adaptative, and the issue remains. I even updated windows from 10 to 11.

I even cleaned and replaced the thermal paste on the GPU.

What else can i do ?

Best regards and Thanks1040953453_rtx2060stocksettings_after2min.jpg.7b573d217747a8b2e178a705c279be7d.jpg

What case is in it in?

When setting this secondary system up did you do a fresh install of Windows or are you using a previous install?

The case is a Kolink Observatory Lite Mesh. The OS was freshly installed.
