First build, tips/rec appreciated!

lovelyghost

Hiya! Building my first PC as I'm going to retire my 10 yr old laptop! Mostly using it for gaming and design.

Budget (including currency): $2000 USD

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: OW2, Elder Scrolls, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Blender

Other details: Would like to use two monitors in the future but will just stick to the one I have not so need to to include it! I already have the GPU (Founders 3090), the most important thing for me is memory/space! The case I'm interested in getting is the Corsair 4000D Airflow - I plan on spray painting it a bit! And as far as aesthetics, its not a big deal to me I just want to make sure the computer can preform well 🙂 Here's my pc part picker list, honesty it just a mix of other pc's I was inspired as my knowledge of pc builds is pretty minimal.

I'd be going for more something like

This

The 7700x is a better choice since you'll have the long line of upgrades for am5

A good cooler that can handle the cpu

More than good enough board for future upgrades and current usages

32gb of 6000 ram which seems to be the sweet spot

2tbs of storage which is the same amount but cheaper

Case that was wanted and a good 1Kw psu for cheaper

A 7900x can be had in the budget, but I'm not sure about how much heat it produces
