Hi all,

I'm a bit of a PC building newbie. Please suggest me some builds! I'm mainly looking to stream League, and occasionally dabble in some FPS (CSGO, Valorant, Halo).

Budget (including currency): 700-1,000 GBP flexible

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 90% time spent will be playing and streaming League. Hoping to get 150+ FPS on medium settings while streaming at 1080p. 10% for FPS games.

Case: Happy to spend extra on the case to get an aesthetic and functional one. I get a lot of dust in my flat so it'd be nice to have dust filters if possible.

Monitor: Hoping to get a 24" 144 Hz monitor with good eye care options.

Thanks for your time. Looking forward to your suggestions!

I could suggest this, if it's too expensive downgrade to a 6600 non XT GPU, and maybe get instead a larger 1TB drive

EDIT didn't see a monitor was needed, now I'm really over budget, will review 🙂

Can't really help for the case and monitor as I'm not knowledgeable in those.

For the GPU anything above a gtx 1070 should be fine, in fact anything below might work just as well, depending on how modern the games you play are (from the ones you listed, only Halo is going to be a problem for something like a 1050)

16gb of ram (2x8)

CPU isn't something you should worry too much about, just get an i3 from the 10th gen or higher and its perfect

Updated build including monitor for less than £1000

Quite low end but on current gen, and very decent GPU

You don't need the aftermarket cooler. In any case the Arctic isn't worth £63.

Also that board is not worth £120. An extra £10 gets you the MSI PRO B660M-A .

I would spend a bit more on the psu and get a Corsair TXM 650W for £75.

You can get the Meshify C for £60.
