Hey everyone I'm looking to do a gpu upgrade. I currently have a gtx 1070 and it works just fine. I'm looking to upgrade more for future proofing. Looking into the 30series cards and wondering if an upgrade is worth it. My system has an AMD 5600X and 16gb of ram. I have a 750w power supply.

What resolution and refresh rate do you game at?

What games do you play, what level of quality settings, what FPS do you wish to achieve?

FYI, the GTX 1070 is comparable to the RTX 3050 in terms of performance.

RTX 3060 / 3060Ti should be a substantial upgrade, and would be suitable for 1080p gaming -- 1440p with in-game graphics settings adjusted.

My current monitor is 1080p at 120hz. Play mostly call of duty, forza, and pga

Well, that is easy then, RX 6800 XT is around $600-700, very good performer for 1440p and decent on 4K.

I can tell you that FH 5 runs very well, all ultra-extreme settings and MSAA 4X run at 100fps+ with RX 6800 XT.

Should be enough with your 750w PSU (if it is good quality), but be sure to check each model's recommended PSU, because some require 850w some 750w.

Should be good enough on a high quality 600W. 325ishW peak and 315ish W sustained under FULL SYNTHETIC load isn't bad at all.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Yeah maybe it should, my Asus TUF RX 6800 XT with decent OC peaked at 340ish watts, with undervolt -135mV peaked at 260ish watts.
