huge fps decrease

ive had my pc since april this year and everything had been fine, my main game is destiny 2 and i would cap my fps at 145 and would always stay around there very consistently,

now randomly its a struggle to get  120-110 fps on same exact settings and every thing is the exact same, cpu and gpu temps perfectly fine and everything looks fine, but something is clearly wrong. anyone know what could be the cause of this 

for reference i have a 5800x and a 3070ti.
