Hey guys. I wanted to know how easy it is to get a job into a place where they fix pcs and staff.

I happen to know that most of the cases I know more things than the guy who "fixed" my laptop.

so I was wondering if I go to this places and ask them to consider me as an employee, what are my chances?

p,s No I am not studying something related to engineering

I doubt it's an "easy" task per say but what in life is easy? What do you have to lose by putting yourself out there? Generally speaking, people hire those that have a good work ethic and attitude. That can go a long way at any place of employment you plan to apply to.

Think on that for a few moments...

Mobile Devices I ASUS Zenbook UX31E I Nexus 7 (2013) I Nexus 5 32GB (red)

You're chances are high. Be friendly and sound knowledgeable.

If you smooth talk your way into a job you'll quickly get a chance to prove yourself.

The work done at a computer store doesn't require any special training. It's more of a labour job really :P

you might find some trouble in some places regarding the education(you said you're not studying computer engineering), but other than that its all about your attitude to the person you're speaking with for the job and your attitude about potential low payment, ugly work hours..

It's not always about grades, if you turn up to a small shop that build and fixes computers then if you're polite and ask for the manager and be friendly and show you really want the job then you have a chance.

you're right but, in my local computer shop works a retard who works behind the counter, and one day i asked him for 10m of utp cable and he didnt had a clue what i was talking about, i ended up going behind the couter and giving the cable to him. -.- yes that happend.

So my point here is it is strongly recommended that you know IT stuff before you sign up for a job.

AND people skills are very important as you have to be patient with people who dont know any thing about computers. I worked in a IT retail shop(im an IT student) for the summer and it was not always pleasant as people are quite rude sometimes and you cant be rude back so think about it and take it seriusly ;)
