Blu-Ray player Programs for Win10

So I got a Blu-ray drive for my PC because I wanted to be able to play Blu-rays. Come to figure out that Win10 doesn't include BR support in their media player because they have to pay a fee for it. I have tried VLC (which I went through a couple guides and messed with files but couldn't get it to work) and quite a few others, but only got one to work, and the menus were slow, and the audio was crap.

Is there a program you suggest? I'd be willing to pay $5-10ish USD if I knew it would work.I'd also be willing to do a bit of work if needed.

Doing a quick google, I found dozens++ pieces of software, which claim they can do it. Did you try them all?

 

(also, never had anything blu-ray, and I prefer just downloading stuffs. But it's interesting that it can't be used on vanilla Windows. Now I'm interested to find out if my PC could play that poop with all the codecs I have. But not going to buy the hardware with a random disk)

 

Also, according to an article I've read, "they" claim that most blu-ray drives come with software to play disks on windows... Wasn't such a piece of software included?

Vlc works well if that doesnt its gonna be a big pile of crap getting it to work.

 

But bluray on pc is basically a drm hellscape.

 

The best thing you can do is rip the disk and then play the files.
