Backpack Shipping

So for some reason I never got the email update about wave 1 being delayed had to look it up and search for it before learning about it cause I was confused. 

 

Really hoping that I can get it before my trip to TwitchCon in October or at the very least maybe change my delivery address depending on ship date. I know that support is backed up so idk how likely the latter option is. 

 

Hopefully wave 1 is able to ship soon and hopefully the other waves aren't delayed

I know in my case the email update was in spam which meant I initially missed it. I think that at the moment they aren't giving a definitive date just so they don't dissapoint anyone. I know how you feel though, I was going to use it for a trip in a week and and a half since I don't need a full on luggage for a 2 night trip but it seems like my old slightly broken backpack will have to be used in which case luggage might be worth having.

I was a bit curious about this too.. IIRC I heard about the delay on WAN or sth, but never went and looked in my spam folder until now. I noticed all previous lttstore.com had a different "name" ("lttstore" vs "Linus Tech Tips Store") despite all being from the same sender (several different forwarding servers show up, which shouldn't be a big deal..)

I got no email update either. Little disappointed about that. Wave 2 just got delayed, I had to keep an eye on their site to see the delay. Hopefully the ports get through the issue fairly quickly.

As long as our distributor can keep up with estimates (a few thousand shipments per day) we should be back on track very soon, and screwdrivers should actually start shipping out sooner than expected. So all is looking up

I realize this doesn't do any good for everyone waiting (wave one or otherwise), but I was part of wave one that was still waiting and just got a shipment notice for both my backpack and orange/black screwdriver today.  It's easy for me to say this now, but it does seem like they're doing everything they can to get orders processed, especially if the fulfilment side operates 7 days a week.  I don't need either right now but was hoping it wasn't going to be too much longer of a wait, so know that if you're in wave one there's movement for sure.

It sucks they're largely at the mercy of the port and shipping companies in most regards.  Now it's up to UPS and USPS to get everything to me entirely across to the southern US.
